• Almost $100 million in research expenditures; 73% of the total research expenditures for all public universities and colleges in the state

• Newsweek says University of Idaho is one of the nation’s most affordable universities.

• National Jurist – ranks University of Idaho Law 13^th out of the top 200 law schools in clinical opportunities.  Harvard is 20^th.

• Washington Monthly and Forbes Magazine continue to recognize University of Idaho as one of the top universities in the U.S.

• University of Idaho had 17 new National Merit Scholars this academic year; more than any other university in the Pacific Northwest.

• In addition, 34 of our freshman class are first their family to attend college …thus expanding our reach to more Idahoans.

• More than 50% of the states undergraduate degrees granted in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) are granted by the University of Idaho.

 

Our University of Idaho graduate rates are almost twice as high as any other university in the state.
